Course Methodology An integrated teaching and learning methodology will be adopted. Participants will learn through classroom lectures, discussions, practical exercises in groups and individually, simulation exercises, visits and briefngs. A balanced approach to effective training and learning will be applied. This course will be fully conducted in English. Course Content U Group Dynamics; U Country Report Presentation; U Strategic Thinking and Planning; U Country Risk Analysis; U Counter-Terrorism; U Asia Pacifc Strategic and Security Issues; U Traditional Security; U Non-Traditional Security; U Balancing, Bandwagoning and Buck Passing; U Strategic Positioning for Effective Media Relations; U Discourse on Strategy; U Managing Strategic Changes through Effective Leadership; U Use of Force; U New World Order; and U Introduction to State Level Governance. Prerequisite/Eligibility Interested applicants must fulfl the following criteria: 26 U Nominated by their Government; U Have a basic university degree; U Below 35 years of age; U Three years or more of working experience; U Profcient in English language; U Medically ft; and U Ability to work independently and in groups.
