The Leadership Course for Mid-Level Officers course successfully wrapped on 21 September 2023 at Sunway Putra Hotel has undoubtedly benefitted the participants. All participants received insightful leadership training from expert speakers specialised in the field. The course was designed for Malaysian government officials at the mid-career level of Grades 48 to 52 to cover the essentials of leadership that will help them build on their core competencies in this area.
Twenty-five participants who attended the course were officers from various ministries, agencies, and departments of the Malaysian government, namely the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, Ministry of Communications and Digital, Malaysian Investment Development Authority, National Security Council, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Prime Minister Office, Ministry of National Unity, Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living, External Trade Development Corporation, Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry.
To help the participants strengthen the essential skills most needed for success, they were exposed to various modules designed to enhance their abilities and hone their potential as future leaders in their workplaces. Throughout the three days, they actively engaged in interactive lecture sessions, role-play exercises, and group discussions.
Overall, the course received positive feedback from the participants. All participants were presented with certificates of participation, symbolising the successful completion of their inspiring journey in the leadership course. It was a remarkable course, filled with fruitful discussions and invaluable insights. May this valuable exposure enhance their capabilities to help them accelerate their leadership goals and make a high-impact contribution to their respective organisation.
