The above five-day (21 - 25 March 2011) course was conducted by the Language Division of the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR). Twenty -nine officers from different Ministries and other government agencies attended this course. Eight of them were from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The objectives of this course were to develop the participants’ communicative competence in English in social as well as professional settings and secondly to improve their overall proficiency and skills in, writing, listening and speaking, specifically in job-related areas.
