The Arabic Language Level 2 course was conducted from 27 June to 20 September 2024, with sessions held online every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This 42-hour course, spanning three months, was attended by eighteen participants, including officers from the Federal Territories Shariah Court, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission, the Department of Environment, the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, the Ministry of Health, the Malaysia Civil Defence Department, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Communications, the Islamic Da’wah Foundation Malaysia, the Emergency and Trauma Department, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The primary objective of this course was to enhance participants' abilities to differentiate and accurately pronounce Arabic words and phrases through the processes of reading and text translation. The course content was designed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of Arabic language structure, enabling them to apply these skills in practical contexts.
Upon completion of the course, participants demonstrated significant proficiency in language comprehension across various subject areas. Feedback gathered from participants indicated that they found the course highly beneficial. It provided them with valuable insights into the distinctive characteristics of the Arabic language and highlighted the importance of learning Arabic, both for personal and professional development.
