Course Methodology An integrated teaching and learning methodology is implemented. Participants learn through classroom lectures, discussions, practical exercises in groups and individually, simulation exercises, visits and briefngs and other extra-curricular activities. A balanced approach to effective training and learning will be applied. This course is conducted in English. Course Content U English Language Diagnostic Test; U Diplomatic Correspondence and Communication; U English Sound System and Pronunciation; U Listening for Main Ideas; U Writing Press Release; U The Language of Negotiation; U Language and Power; U Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication; U Delivery and Presentation Skills; U Speech Drafting; U Inference and Making Conclusions; U Reading for Main Ideas; and U Writing Skills. Prerequisite/Eligibility Interested applicants must fulfl the following criteria: U Nominated by their Government; U Have a basic university degree; 20 U Below 35 years of age; U Three years or more of working experience; U Profcient in English language at the intermediate level; U Medically ft; and U Ability to work independently and in groups.
