YBhg. Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, Director General of the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) was granted an audience by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, the Crown Prince of the state of Perak today, 26 January 2012 at Istana Changkat, Kuala Lumpur.
During the audience, YBhg. Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari presented Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah the Royal Patron folder containing the latest volume of Diplomatic Voice (Volume 3 2011) announcing the appointment of Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku as the Royal Patron of IDFR.
IDFR is very honoured with the consent by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku to be the Royal Patron of IDFR. This will be an impetus in IDFR’s efforts to provide world-class training and research programmes in the field of diplomacy and foreign relations.
