DiD 2023 Mission Attachment in New Delhi unfolded an incredible experience of diplomacy and cultural exchange. Held from 30th July to 4th August 2023, participants immersed in India's rich heritage, from the majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan to the UNESCO heritage site, Humayan’s Tomb. Prof. Kishan S. Rana, a seasoned diplomat, shared invaluable insights on risk management, networking, and the interconnectedness of activities, emphasising the crucial role of teamwork in promoting our country's interests.
DiD participants also had the chance to learn about the heart of India’s diplomacy at the Ministry of External Affairs, where Mr. Arindam Bagchi shared captivating insights into public diplomacy. Invest India unveiled the dynamic business landscape, and the day culminated in a gastronomic feast at Karim’s Restaurant. Day 3 delved into legal diplomacy at AALCO, which highlighted Malaysia's instrumental role, and featured a cultural diplomacy lunch with Ambassador Rajeev Kumar. The participants also visited the Tourism Malaysia office in New Delhi, unveiling aspirations to attract more Indian tourists.
