Message from the Secretary General,

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia

I wish to congratulate the Institute of Diplomacy
and Foreign Relations (IDFR) for another colourful
year with glorious achievements and success
in maintaining a high performance work culture
despite all the circumstances following the ongoing
COVID-19 pandemic.

This age of pandemic not only poses a challenge to the
public health and the economy, but also has a critical
impact on the emergence of a new era in diplomacy
- a more dynamic, flexible and in line with the new
normal. Recognizing this fact, the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs has launched Focus in Continuity: A Framework
