- Discussing the complex intersections of hate speech with race, religion, and nationalism
- Highlighting emerging trends of hate speech
- Assessing Malaysia’s national framework to address hate speech
Objectives
The main purpose of this book is to strengthen social cohesion, by outlining actionable steps that emphasise:
- The importance of diplomacy and effective communication; and
- A whole-of-nation approach that brings together the Government and all stakeholders—most importantly the Malaysian public—in the design and execution of effective initiatives to address hate speech.
