A “Mastering Communication with Diplomacy (Mc-D)” course was organised by IDFR at Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur on September 6 – September 8, 2023. The course aims to provide the participants with knowledge of the communication techniques of diplomacy and tact to be applied in the workplace environment. The course attendees are government officials from various ministries and agencies which total up to 24 participants.

The course began with the project manager and Senior Chief Assistant Director of CLCD, Ms. Sithira Devi A/P Govindan welcomed the participants with a speech. An external consultant from Zubedy was the facilitator for the course, together with Ms. Haliyath Zahiyah from the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR). The activities used intriguing methods such as playing games, presentations, media displays and discussion methods to convey information on how to master communication with diplomacy. The technique used provided the participants with ways to master communication with diplomacy and overcoming workplace issues.

The course ended with the participants feeling content with the knowledge acquired, in addition to its ability to assist in their workplace communication.

The certificate of attendance was presented to all participants by the Director of the Centre for Language and Culture Diplomacy (CLCD), IDFR on September 8, 2023.
